The rich viticultural and winemaking tradition of the Kutjevo region was accepted by Vlado Krauthaker, agronomy engineer, oenologist and since 1992 the owner of Krauthaker Viticulture and Cellaring.
They pay special attention to the domestic indigenous variety Graševina, which often wins medals at wine fairs and exhibitions.
As an important determinant of their own production, they emphasize the cultivation of vines according to eco principles, and the continuity of quality. The magic of colors, flavors and aromas is woven into the entire wine offer, which includes wines from late and selective vintages. Experiments and the desire to bring back to the vineyards and cellar the techniques that were used more than 100 years ago pleasantly surprise us. This is a confirmation and further encouragement of the practice of growing grapes according to ecological principles and in accordance with what nature tells us. Accordingly, the work of cultivating the land and the vines is done as it used to be done - with horses.
